Dear Dr
Last week I had a really bad bout of influenza (still have it), went to the DR and received a shot of voltarin (mainly for fever).
Noticed a ringing in my right ear a day later (the Wednesday evening).
By Friday figured I’d take a small dose of prednisone in the case that the NSID damaged my hearing. Subsequently took a 10 MG dose of prednisone.
My hearing seems to have further dampened.
Is prednisone known to do this?
Could it by any chance have interacted with the voltarin, even though it had been over 72 hours since I had the voltarin injection?
or is it possibilly the gunc that is still stuck up my ears?
